ROBOT INTEGRATION
Industrial Robot Vision Integration — 22+ brands in one flow
Robot setup and integration that SI or robot engineers used to handle separately — now bundled with vision and feeder in one setup. 22+ robot brands, standard interface, ±0.05 mm coordinate accuracy.

WHY
Why integrated setup?
Automation cells have traditionally been set up in silos — vision, robot, and feeder each handled by separate specialists. The result: cells that only work with ideal parts and where adding models means starting a new project. AIM bundles all three from the start.
-
REDUCED SI BURDEN
No separate robot expert needed
22+ robot brands absorbed through a standard interface — no need to redesign the cell interface when a new robot is introduced.
-
REPEATABILITY
±0.05 mm coordinate accuracy
Calibration is verified with 9-pose samples so the same precision is achieved regardless of who performs the setup.
-
SCALABILITY
Add models via Recipe
No need to rebuild the cell when models are added. Vision, robot, and feeder are bundled in one Recipe and operated together.
CONTRAST
Conventional approach vs. AIM integration
The same automation cell can vary significantly in deployment timeline and operational stability depending on the setup approach.
| Item | Conventional | AIM Integration |
|---|---|---|
| Robot setup | SI/robot engineer handles separately | AIM bundles it with vision in one setup |
| Coordinate accuracy | Manual correction · operator-dependent | Calibration workflow reproduces ±0.05 mm |
| Communication | IO/TCP redesigned per project | AimFactoryCore absorbs via standard interface |
| Model addition | Vision, robot, PLC modified separately | One Recipe switches vision, robot & feeder simultaneously |
| Operation screen | Vision/robot screens separate, operator learning burden | Operated from one screen — vision, robot & feeder integrated |
FLOW
Integration setup — 4 steps
From part condition review to Recipe registration — vision, robot, and feeder set up in one flow by one team.
- 1
Part & cell condition review
Part shape, material, production volume, and robot model are confirmed together to define the setup scope.
- 2
Vision & robot coordinate calibration
Calibration workflow converts image coordinates to robot coordinates. 9-pose samples with residual verification.
- 3
Robot interface connection
AimFactoryCore standardizes 22+ robot/PLC protocols. Signals, triggers, and sequences are defined in one place.
- 4
Recipe registration & operation verification
Vision conditions, robot paths, and feeder patterns are bundled per model in a Recipe. Model changeover and repeatability are verified.

SIGNALS
Who gets which signal — at a glance
AimFactoryCore organizes the signal flow between robot, PLC, vision, and feeder from one place. From the floor operator's view: just "who sends what to where."
- 01 Vision Robot
Pick coordinates and triggers are sent (TCP/IP or IO). Coordinates are already in robot coordinate space — no additional correction needed by the robot.
- 02 PLC Line
Sequences, interlocks, and safety are shared. AimFactoryCore organizes signals before passing to PLC, simplifying PLC logic.
- 03 Vision Feeder
Vision directly controls vibration and rotation patterns. Hopper and lighting synchronization are managed from one place.
- 04 AimFactoryCore All
One Recipe selection simultaneously switches HMI → PLC → Robot → Vision → Feeder. Operators only select the model name.
