AimFactoryCore launches: an integrated control platform replacing RoboEYE software

What is AimFactoryCore?

AimFactoryCore is AIM Factory Automation’s integrated robot · vision · feeder software. It fully replaces the functions the legacy RoboEYE software handled, managing robot data, vision recipes, and UniFeeder control from a single UI.

Where integration used to be mostly about sending data to and receiving signals from an industrial robot, AimFactoryCore can read and write the robot’s coordinates, current position, program number, speed, and even internal robot-program variables.

What changes?

The hardware stays the same. Existing vision hardware — cameras, lenses, lighting, controllers — is reused, and the software is unified into AimFactoryCore.

The biggest change is recipe management. Previously you had to manage a vision-software recipe and a robot recipe separately per product. With AimFactoryCore, robot-model conditions can be managed together with the vision recipe, reducing the burden of separately adding complex robot recipes on the floor.

Control UniFeeder with one recipe, too

AimFactoryCore controls the UniFeeder’s vibration direction, frequency, intensity, time, backlight, top light, and hopper. You can save and recall this combination as a per-product recipe, enabling fast changeover in high-mix, low-volume processes.

Suitable processes

The AimFactoryCore + UniFeeder combination suits processes with frequent product changes — electronic component assembly, connectors, small plastic parts, automotive parts, medical devices, and semiconductor back-end. It’s especially effective where high-mix, low-volume production and labor-replacing automation are needed.
