HOW IT CONNECTS

Direct connection to the Hi6 controller

The Hyundai Hi6 controller supports TCP/IP-based HRSCL (Hyundai Robot Script Communication Layer). AimFactoryCore connects via this protocol to control robot programs, variables, and I/O from the vision screen.

FEATURES

What you can do with Hyundai Robotics

01

Robot program edit & execution

Connect to the Hi6 controller and load, edit, and execute robot scripts directly from the PC. No teach pendant required.

02

Direct variable read & write

Read and write Hyundai Hi6 coordinates and variables directly from the vision software. Vision results are passed to the robot in a format it can use immediately.

03

I/O signal control & monitoring

View and control DIO input/output states from one screen. Trigger signals and completion signals are managed together with vision.

04

Real-time robot status monitoring

Current coordinates, program state, and alarms are displayed in real time. Issues can be identified and addressed immediately from the vision screen.

05

Script autocomplete

HRSCL syntax-based autocomplete reduces editing errors and speeds up program modification.

06

Per-recipe variable management

On high-mix lines, robot variables that differ per model are managed together in the vision recipe. Switching models updates robot variables automatically with a single recipe selection.

BEFORE / AFTER

Hyundai robot operation — before and after

Modifying a robot program

Before

Direct edit via the pendant on the floor. Needs an operator who knows Hyundai HRSCL syntax.

After · Robot Suite

Edit with autocomplete on a PC screen. Syntax errors are caught; vision engineers can handle it too.

Switching product models

Before

Manually change robot variables for each model. Requires a robot specialist on site.

After · Robot Suite

One recipe selection switches robot variables automatically. Field engineers handle it.

When a fault occurs

Before

Switching between the vision screen and robot pendant to find the cause takes a long time.

After · Robot Suite

Robot status, alarms, and I/O visible on the vision screen. Root cause and response are fast.
