Motion blending and six vision coordinates — pick and place cycle comparison
We ran three operating methods side by side under the same conditions. Pick and place speed is not determined by the robot's maximum speed alone.
- Robot motion blending
- Up to six picks per capture
- Feeder · vision · motion optimized together
Pick and place production speed is not determined by the robot's maximum speed alone. Under the same working conditions we compared three operating methods — no motion blending with a single coordinate received, motion blending with a single coordinate received, and motion blending with six vision coordinates received at once.
Receiving the coordinates in advance reduces unnecessary stops, camera triggers and communication waiting time. That is why the flexible feeder, the vision system and robot motion have to be optimized together rather than separately.

The structures validated in research notes are now part of AimFactoryCore and Robot Suite.
